I've decided to take a break from B7 modelling and have made available another preliminary Addon for Celestia. (Adding all the illuminated windows is more than I can face right now.)

Preliminary B7 Addon

I've assembled a few of the models I've mentioned into a preliminary Addon for Celestia, illustrating one event in the second season opening episode Redemption.

You'll need Celestia v1.6.0 Release Candidate 1 to view it because of the way I defined the trajectory of the Liberator. The Windows version is available at

I'm going to work on a different project for Celestia for a while -- some of the spacecraft seen in the BBC television program BLAKES 7. Above is a view of the DSV-2 Liberator.

almost ready to "declare victory"

I haven't been able to spend much time on the Hale Telescope project in recent months. Although there are many more things I could implement, I think that only a couple of them will actually be added before I release it for use with Celestia. As in previous years, I intend to make it available just before Christmas.

In the meantime, I've assembled another "alpha" release for anyone who'd like to try it. The Zip file is 18MB. It expands to 87MB when installed.

Please let me know if you'd like to give it a try.
